Welcome to Holy Week!

Writer: Jessica StevensJessica Stevens

It's Holy week! It's also Spring Break, but we're not focused on that this year. Our focus is on Jesus and His sacrifice for us. We started Sunday morning with Mass. It felt strange to be sitting on our couch watching on our TV yet again. We know this is the safest and best decision, but it's still super weird!

Since we didn't get palms at church on Sunday like we normally would, we found a Youtube tutorial for drawing your own. It was time consuming, but so much fun! Actually, we still haven't finished, but we have some indoor days ahead from what I hear, so there will definitely be time.

If you want to create your own - check out this video from one of our favorites!!

We also plan on doing this one later in the week:

Ok, I'm sensing a theme - this must be art week! There is so much do do this time of year with the colors! Things are growing, things are starting to bloom. And being quarantined at home, we are definitely looking for the beauty in every day! So channel your inner Monet or Picasso and join us, won't you?

I'm going to leave you with this final fun project! We split it up over three days, but we are thrilled with the final project. We cannot wait for Easter to look at it while we watch Mass once again online.

Be safe and healthy friends!
